One-on-One Instructional Aide/Paraprofessional

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy, an all-boys school of approximately 750, is in search of a part-time instructional aide/paraprofessional. As a Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition, St. John’s inspires each student to achieve his greatest potential in a diverse, Christ-centered atmosphere distinguished by academic success and service as a Man for Others.   As an instructional aide/paraprofessional, this position works approximately 29 hours per week to assist two students who are differently abled during class time.  Compensation for this position is $20 per hour.  The ideal candidate can demonstrate a high level of patience and have previous experience working with children.

English Tutor

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy, an all-boys school of approximately 750, is in search of a part-time English Tutor. As a Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition, St. John’s inspires each student to achieve his greatest potential in a diverse, Christ-centered atmosphere distinguished by academic success and service as a Man for Others.   As an English Tutor, this position works approximately 15-20 hours per week 2-3 days per week assisting students with English/writing and possible other subjects as needed .  Compensation for this position is $20 per hour.  Previous tutoring/teaching experience is preferred.  Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma and be able to successfully pass BCI/FBI background reports and a bachelor’s degree is preferred.  Benefits for this position include summers off, holidays off, tuition assistance for children (boys) of employees to attend St. John’s Jesuit, and matching retirement contributions.

Spanish Tutor

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of a part-time Spanish tutor.  St. John’s is an all-boys Catholic School in the Jesuit tradition, serving approximately 750 boys in Northwest, Ohio from grades 6-12. As a part-time Spanish tutor, candidates will work 2-3 days a week for 5 to 6 hours a day during the school year. Compensation is $20 per hour and this position offers a tremendous amount of flexibility during the school week.  This position requires advanced verbal and written Spanish communication skills.  Candidates must be able to successfully pass the BCI/FBI.  Candidates must act in a way to aid in the formation of Men for Others through the Graduate at Graduation; loving, open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, and committed to doing justice. Food Court Worker

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of a part-time food court worker.  Food court workers regularly work Monday-Friday with hours varying from 7:00am to 2:00pm for 20-30 hours per week during the school year.  The compensation for this position is $11.25 per hour. Bus Driver/Transportation Coordinator

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of a bus driver for both morning and afternoon daily routes and to serve as the school’s transportation coordinator.  Candidates must have or be eligible for a class B-CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement and all Diocese of Toledo guidelines.  Training/certification can be provided.  Drivers must support the mission of St. John’s Jesuit to form Men for Others.  Hours for this position will be 25-30 or more hours per week while school is fully in session.  Position benefits for this position include paid holidays, matching retirement (403b) contributions and tuition assistance for children (boys) of employees to attend St. John’s. Compensation for the position is $21.23 per hour for Monday-Friday daily route and transportation coordinator responsibilities, $22.39 per hour for Saturday field trips and $29.95 per hour for Sunday field trips.
