Assistant Admissions Director

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of a full-time Assistant Director of Admissions.  St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is an all-boys school of approximately 750 boys in grades 6-12 located in Northwest, Ohio.  As a Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition, St. John’s Jesuit inspires each student to achieve his greatest potential in a diverse, Christ-centered atmosphere distinguished by academic success and service as a Man for Others.  Duties for the Assistant Director of Admissions include but are not limited to:

  • Planning, overseeing and executing all aspects of Open House, 8th grade visits, student preview nights and any other special events related to admissions.
  •  Organizing, planning and attending activities for both current and prospective students.
  • Assisting with training and organizing Titan for a Day Hosts and Admissions Ambassadors.
  • Providing tours to prospective students and families.
  • Representing SJJ at community and recruiting events.
  • Making calls to prospective families to set up visits and appointments.
  • Assisting families throughout the application process from inquiry to completing the financial aid application (if applicable).

Compensation range for this position is $40,000-55,000 per year depending on experience, education and skills.

A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university is required.  Previous experience working in admissions, event planning, sales, marketing or a related field is preferred.  Candidates for this position must be able to successfully pass a BCI/FBI background check, Diocese of Toledo protecting youth standards and above average organization, attention to detail and communication skills are required for this position. Head Varsity Soccer Coach

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy in Toledo Ohio, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Head Boys Soccer Coach. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to develop a strong, cohesive program, and implement a winning culture focused on academics, character, and athletic excellence. Qualified candidates shall possess strong communication, relational and organizational skills, and possess the knowledge to create and sustain an overall successful soccer program. A full-time teaching or other position may accompany the coaching position depending on the needs of the school and the licensure/certification of the candidate. One-on-One Instructional Aide/Paraprofessional

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy, an all-boys school of approximately 750, is in search of a part-time instructional aide/paraprofessional. As a Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition, St. John’s inspires each student to achieve his greatest potential in a diverse, Christ-centered atmosphere distinguished by academic success and service as a Man for Others.   As an instructional aide/paraprofessional, this position works approximately 29 hours per week to assist two students who are differently abled during class time.  Compensation for this position is $20 per hour.  The ideal candidate can demonstrate a high level of patience and have previous experience working with children.

Full-Time Academy Math Teacher

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of a full-time Math teacher for grades 6-8 for the current academic year.  St. John’s is an all-boys Catholic School in the Jesuit tradition, serving approximately 750 boys in Northwest, Ohio from grades 6-12.   A degree in education and appropriate certification or a degree in a closely related field is required. Candidates must have the ability to successfully pass a BCI/FBI background check is required. Academy Long-Term Math Substitute

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of a long-term Math substitute teacher for the academy which serves young men grades 6-8.  Qualified candidates will have an expertise in the content area or teaching licensure, ability to successfully pass BCI/FBI background checks and ability to successfully complete Diocesan requirements for working with youth. A bachelor’s degree and previous teaching experience is preferred.

Academy Tutor

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of a part-time tutor to serve the students in grades 6-8.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience tutoring or in a classroom setting and be confident in tutoring students in a variety of academic subjects in grades 6-8.  This position comes with a flexible working environment and can work as little as two days a week or as many as five days a week Monday-Friday from approximately 1:30pm to 4:00pm.  As a Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition, candidates must teach and act in a way to aid in the formation of Men for Others through the Graduate at Graduation; loving, open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, and committed to doing justice.   Compensation for this position is $20 per hour.

Spanish Tutor

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of a part-time Spanish tutor.  St. John’s is an all-boys Catholic School in the Jesuit tradition, serving approximately 750 boys in Northwest, Ohio from grades 6-12. As a part-time Spanish tutor, candidates will work 2-3 days a week for 5 to 6 hours a day during the school year. Compensation is $20 per hour and this position offers a tremendous amount of flexibility during the school week.  This position requires advanced verbal and written Spanish communication skills.  Candidates must be able to successfully pass the BCI/FBI.  Candidates must act in a way to aid in the formation of Men for Others through the Graduate at Graduation; loving, open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, and committed to doing justice. Substitute Bus Drivers

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of substitute bus drivers for both daily routes and special events.  Candidates must have or be eligible for a class B-CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement and all Diocese of Toledo guidelines.  Training/certification can be provided.  Drivers must support the mission of St. John’s Jesuit to form Men for Others.  Interested candidates please send resume  email Katie Sliwinski.
