Full-Time High School Theology Teacher

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is accepting resumes for a full-time Theology teacher. St. John’s is an all-boys Catholic School in the Jesuit tradition, serving approximately 750 boys in Northwest, Ohio from grades 6-12. A bachelor’s degree in education, theology or a closely related field is required. Ability to successfully pass a BCI/FBI background check is required. In addition to teaching, this position will be responsible for regularly participating in and facilitating student retreats under the guidance of the campus ministry department. Candidates must be an active practicing Catholic. Spanish Tutor

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of a part-time Spanish tutor.  St. John’s is an all-boys Catholic School in the Jesuit tradition, serving approximately 750 boys in Northwest, Ohio from grades 6-12. As a part-time Spanish tutor, candidates will work 2-3 days a week for 5 to 6 hours a day during the school year. Compensation is $20 per hour and this position offers a tremendous amount of flexibility during the school week.  This position requires advanced verbal and written Spanish communication skills.  Candidates must be able to successfully pass the BCI/FBI.  Candidates must act in a way to aid in the formation of Men for Others through the Graduate at Graduation; loving, open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, and committed to doing justice. Part-Time Admissions Associate

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of a part-time Admissions Associate.  This position regularly works 20-25 hours per week and the compensation for this position is $17-$20 per hour depending on experience. Duties for the admissions associate include but are not limited to:

  • Representing SJJ at community and recruiting events.
  • Organizing, planning and attending activities for both current and prospective students.
  • Assisting with training and organizing Titan for a Day Hosts and Admissions Ambassadors.
  • Making calls to prospective families to set up visits and appointments.
  • Assisting, as needed, with clerical duties such as preparing materials for mailing or distribution to prospective students and their parents.

Candidates for this position must be able to successfully pass a BCI/FBI background check and act in a way to aid in the formation of Men for Others through fostering growth within the pillars of the “Graduate at Graduation”; loving, open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, and committed to doing justice.  Above average organization, attention to detail and communication skills are required for this position. Food Court Worker

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of a part-time food court worker.  Food court workers regularly work Monday-Friday with hours varying from 7:00am to 2:00pm for 20-30 hours per week during the school year.  The compensation for this position is $11.25 per hour. . Substitute Bus Drivers

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of substitute bus drivers for both daily routes and special events.  Candidates must have or be eligible for a class B-CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement and all Diocese of Toledo guidelines.  Training/certification can be provided.  Drivers must support the mission of St. John’s Jesuit to form Men for Others.  Interested candidates please send resume  email Katie Sliwinski.
