Director of Learning Support Services

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of a full-time Director of Learning Support Services.  St. John’s is an all-boys Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition that assists in the formation of approximately 750 boys from grades 6-12. The Director of Learning Support Services oversees academic support and intervention programs for students in grades 6-12. Reporting to the Dean of Academics, this key leadership role involves managing intervention specialists, academic tutors, and the A+ Learning Center. The Director will ensure compliance with Jon Peterson and Autism Scholarships, provide individualized Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) for students on their caseload, and promote the Jesuit principle of cura personalis, or care for the whole person in their approach to individualized student support.

Compensation range for this position is $60,000-$69,500 per year.  The Director of Learning Support Services position primarily follows the school calendar but requires occasional work during non-school times, including summer break. Director of Christian Service

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy, an all-boys school serving approximately 750 young men in Northwest, Ohio, is in search of a full-time Director of Christian Service. As a key member of the Pastoral Ministries team, the Director of Christian Service is responsible for guiding and overseeing the Christian service program and shaping the development of students by fostering their commitment to serving marginalized communities and forming Men for Others. 

Candidates must act in a way to aid in the formation of Men for Others through the Graduate at Graduation; loving, open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, and committed to doing justice. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and a committed practicing Catholic with an understanding of Jesuit tradition is required. A strong personal commitment to serving marginalized communities, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with a variety of audiences is required.  Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, and Google docs.  Candidates must be available to work Monday evenings to fulfill the Toledo Labre program requirements.

Salary Range: This is a 12-month full-time salaried exempt position with a pay range of $45,000-$53,000 per year depending on education and experience.  This position works reduced hours during the summer months.

Staff Accountant

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant. As an all-boys Catholic school rooted in the Jesuit tradition, St. John’s serves approximately 750 young men in grades 6-12, fostering the development of “Men for Others” who are loving, open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, and committed to justice. Our employees play a vital role in this mission.

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the accurate execution of financial operations, including but not limited to:

Processing day-to-day financial transactions with attention to detail and precision.
Maintaining a current and accurate cash sub-ledger for all bank accounts.
Performing monthly reconciliations for all bank accounts.
Preparing and completing closing journal entries.
Managing the fixed assets process, including data entry, reconciliation, and calculating monthly depreciation.
Completing payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical sense, capable of interpreting financial data, identifying trends, resolving discrepancies, and making informed recommendations. In addition to analytical skills, candidates must possess:

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field (or equivalent experience).
0-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
Excellent customer service skills, a team-oriented mentality, and flexibility in managing multiple tasks.
High attention to detail, confidentiality, and problem-solving capabilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.
Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Bus Driver

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy, an all-boys school serving approximately 750 boys in Northwest, Ohio from grades 6-12, is in search of a daily bus driver for morning and afternoon routes along with occasional special events to begin immediately.   Candidates must have or be eligible for a class B-CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement and all Diocese of Toledo guidelines.  Training/certification can be provided.  Drivers must support the mission of St. John’s Jesuit to form Men for Others. Compensation for the position is as follows:

Daily Route Rate: $21.00 per hour
Mon-Fri Field Trip Rate: $18.00 per hour
Saturday Field Trip Rate: $22.00 per hour
Sunday Field Trip Rate: $29.00 per hour
