Director of Christian Service

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy, an all-boys school serving approximately 750 young men in Northwest, Ohio, is in search of a full-time Director of Christian Service. As a key member of the Pastoral Ministries team, the Director of Christian Service is responsible for guiding and overseeing the Christian service program and shaping the development of students by fostering their commitment to serving marginalized communities and forming Men for Others.

Candidates must act in a way to aid in the formation of Men for Others through the Graduate at Graduation; loving, open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, and committed to doing justice. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and a committed practicing Catholic with an understanding of Jesuit tradition is required. A strong personal commitment to serving marginalized communities, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with a variety of audiences is required.  Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, and Google docs.  Candidates must be available to work Monday evenings to fulfill the Toledo Labre program requirements.

Assistant Director of Admissions

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy, an all-boys Jesuit Catholic school serving approximately 750 boys in Northwest, Ohio from grades 6-12, is in search of a full-time Assistant Director of Admissions. Under the guidance of the Director of Admissions & Enrollment, the Assistant Director of Admissions assists in representing and marketing the school to students, current and prospective parents, and the community in order to bring in new students and retain current students. The Assistant Director of Admissions is responsible for assisting in recruiting students via recruitment events, school tours, Titan For A Day coordination and other recruitment strategies as defined by the Director of Admissions & Enrollment. The Assistant Director of Admissions assists in the recruitment and admissions process from initial interest to application submission and ultimately until enrollment while accompanying families through the admissions process to ensure they have an understanding of each step and are aware of the next steps in the process.

Candidates must act in a way to aid in the formation of Men for Others through the Graduate at Graduation; loving, open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, and committed to doing justice. A bachelor degree in marketing, communication, business or a related field and 0-3 years of previous experience in admissions, enrollment management, marketing, sales or a related field is required.  Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Google docs and experience utilizing databases is required. Candidates must have a customer service mindset while demonstrating empathy and compassion toward students and families that desire a Jesuit education. Candidates must possess strong oral communication skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Senior Accountant

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of a full-time Senior Accountant.  St. John’s is an all-boys Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition that assists in the formation of approximately 750 boys from grades 6-12. Employees must act in a way to aid in the formation of Men for Others through the Graduate at Graduation; loving, open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, and committed to doing justice.  Duties for this position include but are not limited to performing accurate:

  • Day-to-day processing of financial transactions.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date cash subledger for all bank accounts.
  • Performing monthly reconciliation for all bank accounts.
  • Completing closing journal entries.
  • Managing fixed assets process including entry and reconciliation in addition to calculating monthly depreciation.
  • Completing payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Providing daily assistance in the operation of the business office such as greeting visitors and answering questions from colleagues, students and families.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting (or a closely related field) with a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience. Candidates without a degree but with equivalent experience of a degree will be considered.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong customer service, a high level of accuracy, a team mentality, flexibility, confidentiality and knowledge of accounts payable, receivable and maintaining general ledgers. Bus Driver

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy, an all-boys school serving approximately 750 boys in Northwest, Ohio from grades 6-12, is  in search of a daily bus driver for morning and afternoon Oregon routes along with occasional special events.  Candidates must have or be eligible for a class B-CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement and all Diocese of Toledo guidelines.  Training/certification can be provided.  Drivers must support the mission of St. John’s Jesuit to form Men for Others. Compensation for the position is as follows:

  1. Daily Route Rate: $21.00 per hour
  2. Mon-Fri Field Trip Rate: $18.00 per hour
  3. Saturday Field Trip Rate: $22.00 per hour
  4. Sunday Field Trip Rate: $29.00 per hour

Food Court Servers

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of 3 food court workers to work Monday through Friday during the school year.  Candidates must be able to pass a BCI/FBI background check and protecting youth requirements.  Previous experience in food service is a plus but not required. Hours for positions are as follows:
1. Monday -Friday 8:00am-2:00pm
2. Monday-Friday 9:00am-2:00pm
3. Monday -Friday 10:00am-2:30pm
