Dean of Students
St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy, an all-boys school serving approximately 750 boys in Northwest, Ohio from grades 6-12, is in search of a full-time Dean of Students for grades 9-12. As the Dean of Students, candidates will oversee student behavior and programming in addition to supervising campus safety initiatives. Candidates must have demonstrated experience building relationships with students, faculty, community, and parents. A practicing Roman Catholic with a bachelor’s degree in Education or a closely related field is required. A master’s degree in Educational Administration is preferred.
Candidates must act in a way to aid in the formation of Men for Others through the Graduate at Graduation; loving, open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, and committed to doing justice. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of previous experience interacting with students along with a passion for shaping students through using Ignatian pedagogy. Previous teaching experience is strongly preferred. Candidates must possess strong oral communication skills, problem solving skills and conflict resolution skills.

Spirit Store Manager
St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy, an all-boys school serving approximately 750 boys in Northwest, Ohio from grades 6-12, is in search of a part-time Spirit Store Manager. This position works on average 24 hours per week during the school year. The position works Monday-Wednesday and Friday 10am-2pm and Thursday’s 10am-6pm during the school year. Summer hours are reduced to primarily focus on purchasing and selection for the upcoming school year with occasional reduced summer hours in the building Additionally, the Spirit Store Manager opens the store during special events such as home basketball and football games along with any recruitment events geared toward new families. The Spirit Store Manager is responsible for all purchasing, maintaining inventory, daily operating/opening/closing of the store, and communicating with vendors and customers to ensure the store runs smoothly.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of previous work experience. Experience working in a retail environment is preferred. Previous customer service experience is required. This position is often the “face” of the school to guests and visitors therefore presenting a welcoming, friendly and professional environment is essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Candidates must be able to successfully pass BCI/FBI background checks and Diocese of Toledo Protecting Youth Requirements to work in a school setting.

Strength and Conditioning Coach
St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is looking for a Strength and Conditioning Coach that can educate, supervise, and instruct student-athletes in the use of free-weight, equipment based, and body weight resistant exercise for all of it’s athletic teams. Lead speed, agility, conditioning and flexibility programs for all SJJ sports during all seasons. Track student-athletes progress and maintain an accurate recording system. Applicants must possess or be able to secure the ODE-Pupil Activity Permit.

Educational Technology Coordinator
St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy located in Toledo, Ohio is in search of a full-time Educational Technology Coordinator. Under the direction of the Dean of Academics, the Educational Technology Coordinator coordinates and supervises all aspects of instructional technology within St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy. The Educational Technology Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of technology instructional integration, technology standards, and professional development on instructional technology. Additionally, the Technology director serves as the PowerSchool expert for the school providing oversight and management of the PowerSchool system.
Successful candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree and 2 to 5 years of classroom experience as a teacher along with a passion for educational technology. Above average problem solving skills and the ability to take complex issues and break them down into small actionable steps to solve problems and implement change is required. Spanish Teacher

One position will begin at the start of the 2023-2024 academic year and the other position is eligible to begin immediately if the candidate is interested or it can begin at the start 2023-2024. Food Court Servers
St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of 3 food court workers to work Monday through Friday during the school year. Candidates must be able to pass a BCI/FBI background check and protecting youth requirements. Previous experience in food service is a plus but not required. Hours for positions are as follows:
1. Monday -Friday 8:00am-2:00pm
2. Monday-Friday 9:00am-2:00pm
3. Monday -Friday 10:00am-2:30pm
