The biggest St. John’s Jesuit fundraiser of the year was held on Saturday, February 7th. The annual Dinner Under the Dome, transformed into Dancing Under the Dome, and showcased some of the most well-known members of the Titan community in a “Dancing with the Stars” format all to raise money for tuition assistance and school improvement initiatives.  Attendance was sold out at nearly 550. Voting was determined by votes which cost ten dollars each. A “Judges Choice” winner was also determined by a panel of three judges with backgrounds in theatrical performance and/or strong connections to SJJ, including Broadway performer Kevin Smith Kirkwood ’95, longtime faculty and administrator and local theater performer Phil Skeldon, and longtime retired school administrative assistant Sue Matusak. Overall, the event earned nearly $249,000.

To prepare, six “celebrity” SJJ dancers worked with professional dance coaches for months to learn traditional dances such as the American Cha Cha, the Paso Doble, and the Rumba Medley. Jason Dzierwa ’92 and his coach and SJJ faculty member Kaycee Hardiman took first place.  Myles Copeland ’15 and his coach Iuliia Leuck took the “Judges Choice” award.

SJJ dance competitors included longtime head Cross Country Coach and Counseling Department Chair Todd Black, former Ohio State Buckeye and Indianapolis Colt Jack Mewhort ’09, Toledo Firefighter and former Glass City Wrangler Myles Copeland ’15, head Baseball Coach and Assistant Director of the SJJ Athletics Department Sam Fischer, Owner of Le Petite Gourmet Jason Dzierwa ’92, and Taylor Automotive Chief Marketing Officer Nick Marconi ’94.

Class of 2017 graduate Cincinnati Bengal Tycen Anderson was honored as the 2026 Young Alumnus of the Year, and Bowling Green State University President and alumnus parent Dr. Rodney K. Rogers received the 2026 Man for Others Award.

Attendees also enjoyed browsing the silent auction tables filled with unique and favorite packages and a strolling buffet featuring the elegance of Shelly Moore’s Thymely Creations.
