Director of the 20/20 Jesuit Scholars Program

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of a full-time Director of the 20/20 Jesuit Scholars Program. St. John’s is an all-boys Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition that assists in the formation of approximately 750 boys from grades 6-12. The Director of the 20/20 Jesuit Scholars Program plays a pivotal role in advancing St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy’s mission by leading efforts to attract, support, and empower under resourced populations, with a specific focus on under resourced students. This position is instrumental in ensuring that the school community reflects the diversity inherent to the broader community that it is located in Northwest Ohio and that every student in the program has the resources and support needed to thrive academically, spiritually, and socially at St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in education, social work, business, or a closely related field. Candidates must have experience working with underrepresented populations, student support services, community engagement or a related field. Candidates without a degree but with equivalent experience of a degree may be considered. Candidates must be able to demonstrate an empathetic, compassionate and understanding attitude to under resourced communities. Strong written and verbal communication and computer skills are required. Basic conversation Spanish communication skills are a plus. Theology Teacher

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is accepting resumes for a full-time Theology Teacher. St. John’s is an all-boys college preparatory Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition located in Northwest, Ohio serving over 750 young men in grades 6-12. Candidates must teach and act in a way to aid in the formation of Men for Others through the Graduate at Graduation; loving, open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, and committed to doing justice.  A bachelor’s degree and the ability to obtain appropriate licensure is required. Intervention Specialist

Substitute School Nurse

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy, an all-boys school serving approximately 750 boys in Northwest, Ohio from grades 6-12, is in search of a registered nurse to work as a substitute as needed to cover sick time, personal days, and vacation time for the SJJ school nurse. This is a paid position of $28 per hour and requires proof of a State Board Ohio license, 1.5 hours of Toledo Diocesan “Child and Youth Protection” online training , must be a “healthcare provider” CPR certified, provide recent BCI and FBI fingerprints, and 2 hours of training in the health office. Bus Driver

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy, an all-boys school serving approximately 750 boys in Northwest, Ohio from grades 6-12, is  in search of a daily bus driver for morning and afternoon Oregon routes along with occasional special events.  Candidates must have or be eligible for a class B-CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement and all Diocese of Toledo guidelines.  Training/certification can be provided.  Drivers must support the mission of St. John’s Jesuit to form Men for Others. Compensation for the position is as follows:

  1. Daily Route Rate: $21.00 per hour
  2. Mon-Fri Field Trip Rate: $18.00 per hour
  3. Saturday Field Trip Rate: $22.00 per hour
  4. Sunday Field Trip Rate: $29.00 per hour
