Athletic Director
St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy seeks a mission-driven, visionary Athletic Director to provide leadership for its comprehensive grades 6-12 athletic program. Rooted in the Jesuit Catholic tradition, the Athletic Director is responsible for fostering excellence in athletics while forming young men and coaches in mind, body, and spirit.
The Athletic Director will oversee all aspects of the athletic program including coaching formation, compliance, facilities, budgeting, and community engagement, while ensuring that athletics serves as a powerful expression of the school’s commitment to cura personalis, faith, integrity, and “Men for Others.” The ideal candidate is a collaborative administrator, committed mentor, and visible ambassador who understands athletics as an extension of the school’s educational and spiritual mission. Candidates should also embody the values of the Graduate at Graduation: loving, open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, and committed to justice.
Duties for the position include but are not limited to:
Provide mission-centered leadership for a grades 6–12 athletic program that reflects Catholic values and the Jesuit tradition, emphasizing sportsmanship, character formation, and holistic student development.
Recruit, form, supervise, and evaluate coaches as educators and mentors, ensuring they model Jesuit values and support the faith and moral development of student-athletes.
Ensure compliance and operational excellence by overseeing OHSAA and league regulations, eligibility requirements, safety standards, scheduling, facilities, and game-day operations.
Exercise strong stewardship of resources, managing the athletic budget, fundraising efforts, equipment, and facilities with transparency, responsibility, and collaboration.
Serve as a visible ambassador and relationship-builder, strengthening partnerships with families, alumni, officials, and the broader community while representing St. John’s Jesuit with integrity and professionalism.
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Education or a related field.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in youth athletics including coaching and administrative oversight.
Strong organizational, budgeting, and program management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with demonstrated experience in building collaborative relationships.
An authentic desire to elevate athletics at St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy and to embrace and advance its mission.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
Knowledge of OHSAA rules and best practices in athletic administration.
Commitment to Jesuit and Catholic educational values.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience and education in the range of $80,000 to $95,000 per year. Substitute Administrative Assistant
St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is currently accepting resumes for Substitute Administrative Assistants. We are seeking resumes for applicants that are interested in both short-term (several days to several weeks) and on an as-needed basis. This position plays an important role in fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for students, families, and colleagues in alignment with our Jesuit mission of educating young men for lives of faith, leadership, and service.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing a caring and attentive presence for students, including assisting with lost items
Supporting daily office operations and administrative functions
Handling parent and student communication with professionalism and compassion
Assisting with general office support as directed

Substitute Bus Drivers
St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy is in search of substitute bus drivers for both daily routes and special events. Candidates must have or be eligible for a class B-CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement and all Diocese of Toledo guidelines. Training/certification can be provided.
